The Honorable Jan Perry invited LAJO to perform the Duke Ellington/Billy Strayhorn NUTCRACKER SUITE at the historic DUNBAR HOTEL on Central Avenue, Los Angeles.  This FREE concert had, amongst the capacity crowd, 25 Students from the Music Program at Jefferson High School, who stood and cheered their approval at the end of the concert. The future of Jazz in the home of Jazz legends of the past!

LAJO had a similar reaction from the SOLD OUT, celebrity-filled concert at Catalina’s in Hollywood at the end of October.  RUSSELL THOMPKINS JR. (Original lead singer with THE STYLISTICS) was guest vocalist.
